Tanya is a senior healthcare consultant in Aon’s Los Angeles office. She has been a Senior Healthcare consultant since 2009. She has worked with a wide variety of clients including leading institutions in Southern California, automobile companies, consumer goods and retail and entertainment industries. She has specialized in numerous types of projects including FAS 106 valuations, IBNR valuations, Part D Attestations, renewal negotiations for all lines of benefit coverages, self-funding versus insured analyses, establishing accruals for self-funded plans, valuing employer savings associated with comprehensive care management, valuations associated with employee migrations to the public exchange and various analyses related to health care reform. She has almost 10 years of prior carrier experience in individual and small group pricing, network and clinical analyses, provider negotiations and managing various retiree products including Medicare Advantage Part D, Part D standalone and Medicare supplement plans. She holds her Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) and a Board member of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries (CCA). Tanya can speak conversational Mandarin Chinese and has language skills in French.
